The heart of Southern France, the Coteaux de Beziers once held the dubious title of the world capital of wine. Today, the wines reflect the unique climate and volcanic soils of the vineyards, and the low-yielding bush vines provide amazing depth of flavor. Sophie Valrose is Le Bijou’s flagship wine. A beautiful pale salmon colored rose, elegantly fragrant, with aromas of wild strawberries, with delicate floral notes. Round and creamy,  with ripe red berry flavors and a soft minerality.

The Wine Buyer: 91 Points

"Mouthwatering aromas of tangy strawberry, peaches and sea breezes. Beautifully balanced, soft and silky with remarkable depth for a rose. Delicate red berry, strawberries, peach and melon are mouthcoating, elegant and super long on the finish." The Wine Buyer, 91 Points

James Suckling: 90 Points

"Pleasant, fruity and refreshing rosé expressing notes of red currants, apricots and some almonds. It’s medium bodied with a fresh center palate and a succulent, tangy finish." James Suckling, 90 Points
